Well Texas scratch another coach off the list. UCLA Head Coach Jim Mora Jr has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Texas job:
The #BruinRevolution is gaining steam. So proud of our University and what we are building together. #GoBruins #8Clap

#UCLA Mora tells LA Times: “It is always flattering when someone is interested in you. But I am committed to being the UCLA coach.”

To most people this will start to tarnish the Texas job a bit but what this tells me is that the search is just getting narrowed down. Not every coach that publicly says they are staying put actually would get offered anyway.
Most of this is a ploy to get more money and power which Mora already did. He won. Texas needs to make this hire soon though.
