Jon Gruden is coming back?
After his employment with the Las Vegas Raiders was terminated in the middle of the 2021 season due to homophobic and racist emails being revealed to the media, Jon Gruden left the game of football. Now he might be heading home.
His name reappeared in relation to another head coaching position in the NFL more than two years after the scandal ended his career in the league.

As to Bonsignore, there are some within the NFL who think there’s a possibility the league would permit the Raiders to re-hire Gruden in the event that he chooses to withdraw his case against them.
In his complaint against the NFL, filed almost two years ago, Jon Gruden claimed that the league had wrongfully leaked emails he wrote while working as an ESPN announcer, containing racist, sexist, and homophobic remarks, forcing Gruden to leave from the Raiders in 2021.
Emails that Gruden sent to former Washington Commanders CEO Bruce Allen between 2011 and 2018 were discovered among those the league received while looking into the work environment of the Washington franchise.
According to him, the emails’ purported revelation wrecked his career and endorsement deals.
