Georges St. Pierre is busy rehabbing a knee injury and it’s now a matter of when he will return to the octagon, not if he will return. Just don’t expect that return to be against Anderson Silva.
At last weekend’s ‘UFC: The Time is Now’ event Nick Diaz openly called GSP “scared” and a “coward” for not taking the January 31st fight against Anderson Silva; a fight Diaz then took.
MMA Analyst and former UFC competitor, Kenny Florian, agreed with Nick Diaz:
The reasoning given by Florian would’ve made sense a few years ago but at this point GSP is 205 lbs of muscle and it’d be well within his capabilities to fight at 185lbs.
Hopefully Dana White and UFC matchmaker Joe Silva can make this fight happen.
