Louisville head coach Rick Pitino says Kevin Ware might be done for the season. CBS Sports has the full story.
“I think Kevin may be shut down for the year, but I wouldn’t say that 100 percent,” he said.
Ware has played in nine games this season, but has only seen double-figure minutes on two occasions. He has totaled 15 points and five rebounds.
Pitino said there aren’t many adjustments to be made if Ware is out.
“Ware is not a factor on our basketball team,” he said. “We’ve been playing without him.”
As we all know, Ware suffered a gruesome fractured leg in last season’s Elite Eight win over Duke. He made his initial return against Pikeville in an exhibition game, just 220 days after the injury.
