The Indiana Pacers are returning to the second-half of the NBA season determined to rack up wins.
After Cassius Stanley was snubbed out of a 50 during the Dunk Contest and Domantas Sabonis won the Skills Challenge, the Pacers will take on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers Friday.
Last season, the Pacers won by a margin of three points or more going 2-0 in their regular season series vs. the Lakers.
This is a statement game and if the Pacers want to win, they’ll have to attack and limit their three-point shooting to climb back in NBA Playoff contention.
Having active bodies operate on both ends will be vital for the Pacers to come out with a win.
Sabonis scored 26 points and 11 rebounds in a 105-102 win over the Lakers in December 2019.
