leigh Anne Tuohy is a huge Ole Miss fan, and the woman who inspired the movie ‘The Blindside,’ in which her character was played by Sandra Bullock.
Tuohy, known for being the legal guardian of former Ole Miss offensive tackle Michael Oher, was none to pleased with ESPN Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler acting as if Ole Miss was lucky to even be on the same field with the Crimson Tide.
Ole Miss went on to upset Alabama for the second year in a row, causing Tuohy to puff her chest out, and directly call out the ESPN crew on twitter.
I agree! I'm so sick of @KirkHerbstreit and @cbfowler acting like we were just lucky to be on the same field as Bama https://t.co/YRFjkg7L6s

I know it. I wanted to smack him and say "How about a little of how Ole Miss could continue to score points" https://t.co/MjxxsBdRR0

Herbstreit shut it down immediately.
I didn't make a pick clown. Listen instead of hearing what you want to hear. I don't pick games I call. https://t.co/tysp9LrW4S

Wow, didn't realize Ole Miss had a lunatic fringe that was so vocal. Think they'd be happy they just beat Bama in T-Town. #EmbarrassingFans

You're embarrassing yourself. Please stop and enjoy your victory. And to think I was a fan of Blindside. https://t.co/ObzPSTiCnn

Herbstreit has since apologized.
