This was one of the saddest episodes of Fresh Prince of Bel Air. This episode is about Will father coming back into his life after 14 years and trying to develop a relationship with Will. Will gets his hopes up that things have changed and that his father is a changed man. The final scene Will is suppose to leave and go on trip with his dad but his dad backs out. Causing Will to cry out “How come he don’t want me, man?”.

If your were a kid who grew up with a single mom, whose dad wasn’t around this episode got to you. Its a stages you go through when you do not have your father in your life everyday. Stage one is usually ignorance to the problem, not being aware that you’re in fact missing something. Then move on to the stage of excuses that he’s just to busy. Then it blame, blaming whoever you can even yourself for not having an attentive father. Then you finally conclude that its not about time or anyone else, you just accept he just not who you want him to be. Lebron caption the last video “This hit home for me growing up and I couldn’t hold my tears in. Til this day they still coming out when this episode come on.” So no surprise that Lebron being raised by a single mother in Akron, OH that this episode may hit home for him. Also, was that an 80 inch TV King James was watching it on, things worked out pretty well for him despite the MIA father.
