Flint, Michigan is a small town about 70 miles outside of Detroit, Michigan, residents of the town has been unable to drink water from their tap. This issue has been ongoing as it starts with the town made decision to switch its water supply from Lake Huron (which they paid the city of Detroit for) to the Flint River, which is known for how unsanitary the river is. The water is described as brown and is contaminated with Iron.
The issue is starting to gain some national attention as Michigan Native/NBA legend Magic Johnson tweets his thoughts on the situation:

President Obama has declared a federal emergency which frees up 5 million dollars in federal aid to immediately assist the public health crisis. Obama plans to visit Flint tomorrow as he looks to help out families and figure whats needed to make sure the water is clean again. Prayers goes to families in Flint,Michigan
