The community of Mercer is currently mourning over their beloved Jibri Bryan who was brutally murdered in broad daylight.
When these stories make their way to the news, you almost don’t want to know that it even occurred. What probably hurts more is the youth. Jibri Bryan was just 23-years old after he was gunned down on February 2, 2016.
Bryan was sitting in a car outside of convenience store in Macon, Georgia when this murder scene went down.
Bryan, who was murdered around 4 p.m., was shot in the head with a pistol as he sat in the driver’s seat right next to the store. The gunman reportedly got out of his car and walked over to talk to him. The incident was captured on a surveillance camera.
County Sheriff David Davis told local reporters that investigators have “some good leads” regarding the identity of the gunman. He also claimed they located a pistol behind the store.
The school will hold a candlelight vigil for the fallen basketball player tonight.
