Speaking publicly for the first time since the Las Vegas police incident that left him cuffed on the ground and threatened, Michael Bennett became some overcome with emotion, he had to step away and end his address.
Asked about the incident during Wednesday’s Seahawks news conference, Bennett reflected on the night in question and his letter on social media before emotionally mentioning his daughters.
“It sucks that the country that we live in now sometimes you get profiled for the color of your skin.”
