Just when it appeared that Shannon Sharpe was looking at a long legal battle with the woman who accused him of being a rapist and a stalker. A Fulton County judge has dismissed her restraining order claim against Sharpe.
TMZ.com has the details:
Officials in Fulton County, Georgia have just dismissed a restraining order against former NFL superstar Shannon Sharpe … who is accused of raping and stalking a woman.
As you may have heard, a woman named Michele Bundy was granted a temporary protective order against the former Denver Broncos tight end after telling police that Sharpe “forced [her] to have sex with him” and threatened her life earlier this month.
Sharpe has not been arrested nor charged with a crime — and officials in Fulton County tell us there is no investigation at this time.
Sharpe is on a leave of absence from CBS, we don’t know if today’s ruling means he will be resuming his working duties.
Once again I will say this to all women if you feel you have been raped, stalked, abused and mistreated go the cops first then file your other claims.
