They say nothing is off limits when it comes to comedy but a leashed kangaroo wanted no parts of a recent stage act featuring Mike Epps.
During a Detroit stop on the Festival of Laughs comedy tour a animal handler brought a leashed kangaroo on-stage during Epps’ performance. Telling the handler to “get him to turn up” the handler paraded the animal around while Epps and others posed for selfies. Unimpressed by the bright lights and screaming crowd, the Roo appeared to tug at it’s leash in an attempt to get free. Finally having enough of the havoc, the kangaroo slipped Epps a quick right hand before the video ends.
After receiving backlash from animal rights activist, Epps issued an apology on his Instagram page.
