Its finally over, she can play ball.
The NCAA has finally granted Daisha Simmons the opportunity to play her last season at Seton Hall. An Alabama graduate Transfer, Simmons, was blocked by Alabama because they felt she notified them too late of her decision to transfer to Seton Hall. Simmons currently has a brother fighting a life threatening kidney disease while her mother is suffering from chronic arthritis. She moved back up north to help and care for her family.
When the media got the word that Alabama wouldn’t support Simmons to play, they were dragged through the mud for their selfishness. As of Monday, they no longer wanted to discuss the situation and considered her case closed. Tuesday, Alabama seemed to have a change of heart and notified the public, they will support her waiver to play at Seton Hall. Lastly in Simmons fight, she had to win the approval of the NCAA, whom previously agreed to her transfer.
Simmons has already started practicing with Seton Hall.
