According to reports by Associated Press, the men’s NCAA tournament will continue to be broadcast by CBS and Turner Networks through 2032, due to a brand new eight year extension worth $8.8 billion, announced earlier Tuesday.
Details of the deal include that 90% of the revenue generated from the pact will be used to benefit college athletes through programs, services or direct distribution to member conferences and schools. Also, CBS which has aired the tournament since 1982 will air the 2017 Final Four and National Championship games, then will alter each year with Turner through the duration of the contract.
