Nevada State Athletic Commission (NAC) chairman, Bill Brady, was none too pleased about the 114-114 scorecard of judge, CJ Ross, so the NAC plans to make immediate changes in time for the next big fight in Vegas.
“I apologized to the governor for any embarrassment we may have caused the state. He made me aware of his concerns. He wants things done right.”
The beginning of doing it right starts by having the selection process of fight judges in the state changed. The change will begin on September 25th when the judges are selected for the October 12th bout between Timothy Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez.
“There will be more questions asked, and Keith will be held accountable for his recommendations,” Brady said. “We won’t be a rubber stamp anymore.”
All Nevada judges will also be required to attend a seminar, sometime in October or November.
