Matt Flynn was the big free agent signing with the Seattle Seahawks last year, but thanks to an impressive rookie campaign from Russell Wilson, he became expendable. Now it seems there is a willing trade partner.
According to Jason LaCanfora of CBS, Seattle and Oakland are finalizing details on a trade.

That means incumbent starter, who recently said he wants to be a back up for a contender, looks to be on his way out, but not to a place he would classify as a contender.
With the Raiders on verge of a trade for Matt Flynn, the Cardinals are nearing a deal for former Raiders starter Carson Palmer.
