The Nike KD 10s are out now, with a special edition pair releasing on Thursday as Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant is set to face off in the Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
The “Still KD” colorway will be releasing online Thursday for $150 retail, but there’s a catch on how to get them:
Consumers will be able to buy the white version of the KDX “Still KD” shoe — which Durant will be wearing for the first time during Game 1 — on Nike’s SNKRS app as soon as the game tips off in Oakland at 9 p.m. ET. Sales will be halted when Durant is subbed out of the game, when a timeout is called and during halftime.
Sales will also stop when the game ends or when the shoes sell out.
It’s definitely interesting, and something I don’t think Nike has ever done before. It’s pretty cool, actually.
Those who miss out still have another chance at the shoe when they release to the general public on Friday. Those who are able to cop on that Thursday night are able to get a special pin set, though.
Would you cop these?
