The New York Giants have spent big bucks locking up some of the top free agent defenders, sensible considering the defense was atrocious last season, but now they set their sights at getting Eli Manning some help.
Russell Okung's visit with the #Giants is tomorrow, source said. First visit is always key, so they have a chance to keep him from leaving

The Giants came into free agency with the 4th most cap space in the NFL and GM Jerry Reese is determined to leave no dollar unspent.
The restructuring of Victor Cruz’s contract, and there’s always the possibility of restructuring Eli’s, leaves the Giants with a lot of flexibility.
Okung became expendable in Seattle but during their Super Bowl runs he was a key to their offensive line, especially in run blocking. He’d be able to slide right into the right tackle position for the Giants, a glaring area of need, and block for whichever running back takes the starting job.
There’s also the small task of protecting Eli Manning. Okung should grade as an above average RT immediately, LTs have tougher pass blocking responsibilities.
It’d be surprising to see Okung walk out of NYC without a deal done.
