After an 0-4 start that’s included losses to the Buffalo and the FCS Towson, UConn has pulled the plug on Paul Pasqualoni after three seasons. Even though they almost pulled a miracle upset of Michigan, back to back 5-7 seasons were not good enough for the Huskies administration.
Paul Pasqualoni has been fired as #UConnFootball coach.

UConn AD Warde Manuel: “I am making this change now as we approach the conference season to see an improved performance from our program.”
Since it looks like we are entering the time of firing coaches a little early this season, this is going to be one interesting year of coaching searches. In this case, UConn needs to understand who they are in football and show some patience. I’d look for them to go after a young energetic coach that can recruit though.
