Game of Thrones‘ season finale had us all on the edge of our seats. There was so much going on that you might have to go back and rewatch that Bran and Sam scene. Peter Dinklage reflected on what Tyrion’s thoughts were as he knew that Daenerys and Jon Snow were having sex.
By now, you had time to both avoid social media for spoilers and watch Game of Thrones. There are things that we don’t know, like when the final season of the show will debut but one thing’s for sure-we do know what Tyrion was thinking and that comes courtesy of none other than Peter Dinklage.
As you can see, Tyrion’s face above was immensely scary, perhaps even foreshadowing what consequences will come. Dinklage spoke about the thought process behind his character’s expression.
It’s dangerous for everybody involved. I’m sure it is good for both of them in the moment, but you don’t even get the relief of how beautiful it could be or should be.
No, it’s not good – it should be, but it’s not. It’s Game of Thrones, there’s a long history of romance not ending well in this show.
I think they both know it’s wrong, they both know it’s going to cause problems.
But it’s that thing – when you suddenly feel that deeply about someone and you go through those events together, it’s like a runaway train you can’t stop it happening.
It’s clear that none of us are ready for what’s to come regarding our beloved characters. If there’s one thing that we can celebrate from this season finale, it’s that Lord Baelish, aka Little Finger, is gone.
