Reggie Miller is no where near as clutch with his analysis as he was as an NBA sharp shooter.
Miller, who does color commentary for TNT, told the New York Post that the Knicks are not going to make the playoffs.
“I personally say no. I don’t think they’ll be able to make up ground,” TNT analyst Reggie Miller told The Post in a phone interview.
The Knicks are currently 10th in the east, two games back of the eight and final playoff spot. Miller can’t see them making up that ground.
“I just don’t see the Knicks making up any games or going on an eight-, nine-game winning streak,” Miller said. “I don’t see that happening. I think we’re all surprised. We had New York as the fifth-best team in the Eastern Conference when we started the season. The talent they have and with Carmelo [Anthony], I’m surprised they’ve been struggling this much. They’re losing at home, they’re losing to a lot of sub-.500 teams.”
