Things are starting to make sense now. Earlier this week, Seahawks GM, John Schneider flat out admitted that yeah, we’re listening to trade talks involving Sherman.
He said talks began in February at the combine but it was still kind of weird that Seattle would entertain trade talks with a player of Sherman’s caliber. He doesn’t have any issues on or off the field, he isn’t a “distraction” and he still has a few more good years left on him.
However, things are clearer now. Adam Schefter reported, it was Sherman who initiated trade talks and the Seahawks were simply going with what their star wanted.
Why would Sherman initiate trade talks? Who knows what’s going between him and the organization but it doesn’t seem THAT bad from the outside.
Who knows but one thing is for certain, they haven’t been the same since they decided not to run the ball.
