This is a robbery gone wrong!
In a viral clip, one would-be robber yet to be identified got the beatings of his life after he failed at robbing a jewelry store. He was then beaten up and chased out of the jewelry store without being handed to the police. I guess he was lucky!
Store employees at a small family-owned jewelry store in El Monte, CA fought back against a would-be robber. The incident, caught on video, shows the suspect entering the store armed with a hammer. However, the family that owns the business immediately sprang into action, grabbing the suspect and attempting to restrain him. The would-be thief responded by pepper spraying everyone in the store, but the family refused to back down. They managed to defend themselves and their store, forcing the suspect to flee empty-handed.
This incident highlights the growing trend of smash and grab robberies, which have typically targeted big-name stores. However, this time, it was a small business that fell victim to the crime. Several workers suffered minor injuries during the scuffle and were treated on-site. Police are currently investigating the incident.
It’s obvious this would-be robber didn’t prepare before attempting to rob the jewelry store looking at how the store attendants retaliated and got him beaten up and then chased out of the store.
