The Scarlet Knights of Rutgers University dealt with a familiar outcome on Saturday. Falling to Maryland 34-7, falling to 1-6(0-4) and their offense fell before they arrived in College Park. True freshman Quarterback Artur Sitkowski finished the day completing two passes on 16 attempts for a whopping 8 yards and four interceptions.
The first team in this Century to complete two or less passes in a game while throwing five-plus interceptions. The offense was lethargic and discouraged the whole day.
Touching on the lack of help at the receiver position can be explained in a unique stat rarely seen. Terrapins defensive back hauled in two interceptions,no receiver for the Scarlet Knights caught two passes. What will never be explained or understood is the botched punt attempt in the second quarter.
Can’t punt it any better.
Nice to have @WL_88 at punter, isn’t it, @TerpsFootball fans? pic.twitter.com/zitmr92YVx

The Senior Quarterback Giovanni Rescigno was finally asked to come in after four interceptions from Sitkowski. What do you think the Senior did? YES! Threw a interception on his one lone pass attempt on the day.
