Youth hockey player Sam Tageson will most likely never get a chance to compete at the professional level because of a potentially fatal heart condition he has suffered from since birth, but his disability hasn’t prevented him from signing a professional contract.
The San Jose Sharks signed Tageson to a 1-day contract, enabling him to practice and spend the day with the team, as well as skate out of the “Shark Head” for his own personal introduction.
