Photobombing and videobombing has become one of the most easygoing ways of having some fun at other people’s expense. However, the bombing can go terribly wrong, especially if it appears as a major intrusion to the person that you’re bombing. A wacky fan decided he would videobomb Service Electric TV2 sports director Mike Zambelli, and it turned out to be a case of a videobomb gone terribly wrong.
Zambelli appeared startled and decked the poor guy right in the chest. When he later addressed it, Zambelli seemed not at all sorry.
“He startled me, so I reacted,” Zambelli told The Morning Call. “He ran off … It’s not a big deal.”
Bethlehem police Chief Mark Diluzio’s only thoughts on the video was that it was “hilarious.” Luckily for Zambelli, no report was filed for the incident. The fan was just having a good time, and Zambelli’s punch seemed to never make a landing any way. Props to the fan for the Batman shirt, though.
