Yet again another player from the Baltimore Ravens managed to ruffle a few feathers in New England. Last night wide receiver Torrey Smith was asked by a Twitter follower who he wanted to win the Stanley Cup in between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Boston Bruins.
Smith’s reply:
RT @MBalsley If you had to pick a hockey team, who you cheering for tonight Boston or Chicago?…CHI I hate everything about NE except KG

Kevin Garnett gets love but no Rondo, no Pierce, no Doc Rivers?
Within seconds of tweeting his disdain for New England, Smith’s mentions had begun to heat up, resulting in Smith elaborating further about his dislike for NE fans.
I understand that every Fan base has bad fans what I'm saying is NE fans have more than others and think they are better than everyone else

As much as I dislike MOST of the fan base I can honestly say that I respect the coaches and ownership

Got called the N word so many times last night like there are no black folks that represent NE…typical

Ok I'm done starting stuff before I get a phone call from our organization haha…no apologies I meant what I said ✌

Following a loss to the Patriots during the AFC Championship Game, Smith said he received a lot of cruel insensitive tweets about his younger brother, who died in September in a motorcycle accident.
Between Terrell Suggs openly ripping the Patriots fan and Torrey Smith adding to the fire, Patriots fans will have to wait to seek revenge, since this season’s game is scheduled to be played at M&T Banks Stadium.
