CM Punk’s debut is on the horizon but it’s very far from being a lock. Despite the impending variables, the UFC continues to test Punk as an active roster member. CM Punk took to Twitter to discuss today’s USADA visit.
Same. Giving blood at 6am while your dog tries to kill two strangers is the worst alarm clock. https://t.co/JmS7frw258

The UFC expects Punk to debut sometime before UFC 200 and his future opponent has been tabbed as Mickey Gall. The problem with that being Gall must defeat Mike Jackson at UFC 196 to hold onto that deal, which is no easy task.
The UFC hasn’t committed to giving Jackson the Punk fight if he’s victorious, which leads many to believe they’d start their search for an opponent all over again.
Those factors coupled with a few training camp injuries have left Punk debut as a toss up instead of a sure thing.
