Victor Butler really needed to make the New York Giants roster — he allegedly cheated in the process.
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports that Butler has been suspended four games for a violation of the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

A Cowboys fourth-round pick in 2009, Butler played 63 games in Dallas before signing with the Saints as a free agent before the 2013 season. A torn ACL ended his season before it started.
