Wesley Johnson has played his last game for the Los Angeles Lakers but his new team won’t force him to relocate. Johnson has agreed to join the other team in Los Angeles, the Clippers.
Free agent forward Wesley Johnson will commit to a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, league sources tell RealGM. Terms being discussed.

The Clippers have been the dominant team in L.A. as of late but have a few holes after the departure of DeAndre Jordan. Johnson was the 4th overall pick in the 2010 draft. He played two season with the Lakers averaging 9.9 points, 4.2 rebound and 1.6 points in his second year.
I think this is a nice pick up for the Clippers but not the signing they really need. They are without a true center and are in desperation mode to fill the position. With the free agency market drying up maybe Johnson signing means the Clippers are ready to shop guards J.J. Redick or Jamal Crawford with the hopes of landing a big man.
