Before you accuse someone of something, make sure you’ve done your due diligence else, you will end up embarrassing yourself and innocent people.
A video of a White woman accusing a Black man of stealing her phone has hit Twitter with massive reactions. In the video, the woman accused the man of stealing her cellphone before finding it in her purse.
Someone else called the number, and her own phone rang inside of her purse. I’m sure she would have called the police if her phone never rang in her purse.
This is not the first and won’t be the last time something like this happened. We have to start arresting these white women like this.
A white woman who wrongly accused a black teenager of stealing her cellphone and tackled him at a New York City hotel appeared to back off her apology in a TV interview on Monday, suggesting that maybe he did try to steal her phone after all.
“So, maybe it wasn’t him but at the same time, how is it so that as soon as I get asked to leave the premises after I had accused this person of stealing my phone, how is it that all of a sudden they just miraculously have my phone at the back?” 22-year-old Miya Ponsetto told CBS This Morning.
The interview was conducted on Thursday, hours before Ponsetto was arrested in Ventura county, California, over the 26 December confrontation with 14-year-old Keyon Harrold Jr. Ponsetto was charged on Saturday in New York with attempted robbery, grand larceny, acting in a manner injurious to a child and two counts of attempted assault, according to city police.
Security video released by police shows Ponsetto frantically grabbing at Harrold as he tries to get away from her through the front door of Manhattan’s Arlo Hotel. The teen’s father, jazz trumpeter Keyon Harrold, has said Ponsetto’s phone had actually been left in an Uber and was returned by the driver.
They sued her as well. I think this black man should do the same.
