According to YSUsports.com, Director of Player Personnel Tim Johnson was banned from the sidelines during the football season after throwing a shoulder at Northern Iowa’s Quan Hampton.
Hampton caught a pass running out of bounds and was met with a slight shoulder intended to knock him back.
In the aftermath of the incident, Johnson issued an apology statement addressing his bad behavior.
“I apologize to UNI, Youngstown State, the Missouri Valley Football Conference and our community for what occurred on Saturday. As a member of the YSU Football staff, my actions are held in high regard and that should have never occurred. Again, I deeply apologize to all who have been impacted by my actions.”
That man wasn’t truly sorry and it was intentional since he purposely tried to play it safe like the camera wouldn’t see.
