• Jerry Porter signs with the Jaguars for 6 years 30 million. How many #2 receivers do the Jags have on the Roster now?
• The Shaun Rodgers trade to the Bengals is off. Just like Cincy to blunder something as simple as this.
• Billy Volek will stay with the Chargers for 3 years 9 million
• Jonathan Vilma of the Jets has been traded to the Saints. Great move for the Saints if he is healthy.
• Cincy gets Shaun Rodgers for a 3rd and 5th round pick.
• Asante Samuel signed with the Eagles for 6 years 57 million dollars. 20 million is guaranteed and 32 million over the 1st 3 years. I personally don't think he is worth that type money especially since he is a zone corner and Philly is aggressive scheme.
• Denver Broncos cut Javon Walker and Ian Gold. Look for the Cowboys to make a run at Walker.
• Kawika Mitchell has signed with Buffalo Bills.
• The Cowboys have traded Jason Ferguson to the Miami Dolphins. Ferguson was hurt all of last year.
• Kris Jenkins has been traded to the Jets for a 3rd and 5th draft pick in 2008. Jenkins also signed a new deal with $20 million in guarantees. In my opinion, horrible trade for the Jets not because of the draft picks but for the guaranteed money for someone so injury prone.
• The Minnesota Vikings have sign former Cincy Saftey Madieu Williams for 6 years, 34 million. If Williams can stay healthy, good pick up for the Vikings even though he is a "Roy Williams" in coverage.
• Derek Anderson re-signed with the Cleveland Browns. That means Brady "Free Falling" Quinn will be sitting on the bench for another year.
• No news on the Randy Moss watch which is bad news for the Patriots.
• Asante Samuels will be in Philly this afternoon and my sources say a deal is already in place so unless something unusual happens in the next 4-5 hours he will be an Eagle.
• Michael "Burner" Turner will be visiting the Falcons this afternoon.
• Updated on Anderson's contract it appears he has gotten 24 million over 3 years with 14 million guaranteed and a good chance he will get the full 24 million.
