Let's be clear about the pound-for-pound champion, turned tycoon, turned dancer, turned "wrestler", Floyd Joy Sinclair, aka Floyd "Money" Mayweather. Yes, he is one of the greatest fighters of all time. Yes, he has run through the ranks of boxing like Memphis has Conference-USA. But, according to a recent report published on espn.com, when it comes to family business, Floyd seems just as disoriented as Hatton was when he caught that check hook back in December.
According to the report, Floyd has put out a warning shot for his uncle/trainer, Roger Mayweather, to stop training Steve Forbes who will be facing Oscar De La Hoya on May 3. Floyd's reasoning: If Steve happens to beat De La Hoya, that would take away the luster from the Mayweather/De La Hoya Rematch in September.
Translation: Mayweather's won't get his $20 million payday.

Floyd, I am pretty sure you pay your uncle well, but last time I checked, you were fighting the Big Show at Wrestlemania. I am no expert in athletic scheduling, but I am guessing that it freed Roger to do some other things while you channel Hulk Hogan.
I don't blame Roger. It is becoming quite obvious that you only have a few fights left. So stop being a hater and let Roger eat. You have failed to realize that regardless of how many fights you win, both real and fake, the constant thing in life that never changes is that FAMILY IS FAMILY.
You are so stuck on being Floyd "My"weather ( not a typo) , that you have underestimated the fact that YOU could be the glue that brings the Mayweather clan back together. Just think about how powerful your empire could be if you cared enough to mend the broken bridge between being guys utilizing talents for the greater good of boxing, instead of looking like a male version of Keyshia Cole's family.
Once again this the real Floyd Mayweather and let me ask you if your uncle was training someone who could cost your 20 million how would you react. Also that Puff Daddy phrase is already played out

My commentary is based upon the greed factor that is being displayed. Ok, so what. You miss out on 20 million for Oscar. You are marketable enough to recoup that PLUS more with a variety of opportunities.
