For such a successful organization, the NFL sometimes argues over some of the silliest things such as the hair issue. They have come to their senses and have tabled the discussion. However, the fact that they were even considering it was asinine.
The NFL isn't the military. It's bad enough they have uniform police, that you can't celebrate or say anything enlightening without the media twisting your words. Now you are telling the players that they can't wear their hair the way they want to?
Memo to the NFL and Roger Goddell: Please don't go "Racist" Stern on us. Just because someone has dreads doesn't mean they are any better or worse than someone with a crew cut. Next thing you know, they will be trying to outlaw tattoos which, in turn, would shut down the entire league.
