I must admit I have never been a die hard fan of women's college basketball. However, every other year or so, I'll tune into the women's side of the Big Dance to see whats going on.
Last night, I caught the last six minutes of the Tennessee versus Texas A&M game. For those who don't know, Candace Parker dislocated her shoulder TWICE.
But the strangest thing happened. SHE FINISHED THE GAME!!!! She played through the pain and along with Hornbuckle, who hit probably the clutch shot of the year in the Women's Tourney, led their team to victory. It was all-or-nothing last night. The determination to play one more game was apparent.
It is no secret that Candace Parker has skills. Hopefully she will be that big-name draw that the WNBA needs. It is also no secret that a lot of fellas like myself think Candace Parker is the sexiest thing wearing a jersey. But the most important thing we learned last night about Candace Parker's playing through the pain of a dislocated shoulder(twice) is that she is tougher than a certain San Diego Charger and a few other well-paid athletes who sit out for far less.

First point I would violate her if I got the chance. Second point is she seems to get hurt a lot for such a talented player. I would definitely see that as a red flag.
i've had a crush on her since i saw she dunked in high school... pause. she's a year older than me.
She is fine!!!!!!
