Arthur Blank: You are on the Clock

I know you are thinking that the Draft was last month. So why is Arthur Blank on the clock?

Well, yesterday, "Big Bank Blank" buried any notion of Vick returning by signing #3 pick Matt Ryan to a 6 year, $72 million dollar contract; $34 million of it guaranteed.

I do not believe in Matt Ryan as a franchise quarterback. I feel that the move is a desperate act to entice Falcons' fans back to the Georgia Dome. When you are paying a rookie this much money, the expectation is even greater. Add to the pressure of die-hard Falcons who keep up with Vick's jail time like its a daytime soap opera, Ryan has very little room for error. He better have a daily devotional with Creflo, Eddie Long, Joel Olsteen, or whatever, because he will need it.

With that said, Why is Arthur Blank on the clock? He has officially been put on Suicide Watch. He can't take another QB of his not being who he wants them to be. He has invested almost $200 Million dollars in QB's that he thought were franchise quarterbacks. If Ryan doesnt work out, someone please find a mental asylum for Arthur.
