"See what had happened was...."
This term should be very familiar to all of us. It is used when someone is about to lie or about BS.
As the Javon Walker story continues to unfold, we are reminded of how un-smart buddy is.
According to thedirty.com, Walker has rushed to his defense to clear up what happened.
Here is his account:
"I was just back at my room, and at about 5:30 in the morning, I got a knock at the door," he told the Web site. "I opened it, and three guys with guns were there. They cracked me in the head a few times, knocking me unconscious. They then robbed me of everything I had; my watch, money, everything. Somehow they got me to a car and dropped me off in the street. That's what happened."
Please Re-Read that two more times, and when you stop laughing at this genious, lets break this down.
"I was just back at my room, and at about 5:30 in the morning, I got a knock at the door,"
I guess Walker's poor judgement on field, is a reflection of what he does off field.
You are in Las Vegas, and at 5:30 am, you get a knock on the door. You either didnt bother to check the peephole; you are lying and trying to present to the public that you were ambushed; or you ordered a hoe and were about to enjoy room service. My opinion that it is a mixture of the 3.
"They cracked me in the head a few times, knocking me unconscious. They then robbed me of everything I had; my watch, money, everything. Somehow they got me to a car and dropped me off in the street. That's what happened."
Again, you highlight the issue that I brought up in my previous article about you being by yourself. As far as the assault portion of your adventure, you said that they knocked you unconscious. So anything that happened after that, is what you hoped/guessed happened.
I have a hard time believing that the Las Vegas police are going to put a lot of time into this issue due to the fact that Walker has a history of improper club decorum and was a witness to the murder of his then teammate, Darrent Williams back on New Years Eve, 2006. You wouldve thought that your homeboy dying in your arms over the same thing would have detered any future behavior like that, but I guess Walker wants to learn the hard way. There are a lot of holes in this story, and plus, Walker isnt that big of a name athlete to make any extraordinary moves for. Sad to say.
Let this be a lesson to the athletes who continue to think that there aren't people out there lurking, waiting to catch you slipping. Especially if you break the club rule of throwing either liquor or money at another grown man. A lot of athletes are purchasing this "thug/hardcore" lifestyle. That makes you fair game. The people who geniunely live that lifestyle, see right through you. And its with that transparency that lives guys like Walker laid out in Sin City.
Stay Tuned.

I am telling the truth
Lets get drunk
It wasn't me
That wasn't even a good lie. There is no way that could go down in Vegas with all the security they got
