It looks like Dennis Northcutt of the Jaguars has taken a page out of the Rae Carruth book of "How to deal with A baby mama and a baby that I dont want in the first place".....Allegedly.
According to the Associated Press, A pregnant woman has filed suit against the 4th option Receiver on Madden 2009 for allegedly organizing an assault on her due to the fact that she wouldnt abort the baby. The documents state that Northcutt had his cousin do a real good number on her, causing injuries to her. No charges have been filed.
...But I wonder if the plan worked, seeing that she is now 7 months pregnant.....
If you are familiar with my law and order posts, I try to tie something socially relevant into the article. A lot of these crimes or incidents draw attention to bigger issues that must be addressed.
If Northcutt is guilty of arranging the attack, then let him be the new poster boy for being a "two-headed" monster.
As men, we need to stop having sex with women that we cant stand, dont like, or have pre-existing mental issues. Even with condoms, there is still a risk involved that you might get ol' girl pregnant. Yeah, its hard to factor all that in when you got a chick that looks like she belongs on the West Coast Productions roster (Dont act like you dont know what I'm talking about). It is an issue of responsibility because mathematically, its ridiculously that a few minutes of pleasure can quickly guarantee you another life you are responsible for 18 years. A large portion of men who have "baby mamas" today, regret the fact that they chose to lay up with this trifling female and have to deal with the drama on a consistent basis. No please dont twist my words up by saying all "baby mamas" are bad. Im just talking to the scandalous ones.
It is cowardly for any man to take out his anger on a child, because it really isn't their fault. They are a product of a decision that you made. Life is written in ink. You can't erase it, you just have to start on another line and keep pushing.

To the athletes who often find themselves "victims" of paternity suits, and those who are enjoying new found wealth, this gem is for you. The only thing that gives you an advantage over a "regular" guy is that you have access to fame, a massive bank account, or have the potential to have a massive bank account. Do not be so naive and think that the majority of the women who approach you, think you are Prince Charming. Women are some of the best strategist and know what exactly to say and do to capture our minds. Once the mind is gone, you are in a position to be prey. They understand that you are a possible payday and that you may be a quick come-up either by baby or divorce. Look at what MJ's creeping cost him: 150 Million. Look at what Kobe being a freak cost him: Endorsements, $4 million on an "I'm sorry" ring, and his position as the NBA's golden boy.
All I'm saying is that every guy must consider the big picture when they are about to do the do. Here are a few things you must take into consideration in whether or not you should take the chance.
- If you don't want to be seen with shorty in public
- If she has a rocky relationship with her other children's father
- If she has more to gain from the situation
- If you have a lot to lose from the situation
- If she comes out the house looking like Rodeo Drive, but everything else in her life looks like MLK Blvd
THEN THAT IS PROBABLY NOT SOMEONE YOU SHOULD SLEEP WITH
Let's let Rae-Rae (who is rumored to have been turned out in prison) and Dennis Northcutt (allegedly) be our examples of how not to do things. It a travesty for any man to harm a child just because he got mad and doesnt want all the accessories that come with it (potential drama, her family, how will your current boo do as a step-mom).

If you decide to share the sperm, prepared to do the term....I had to channel my inner Johnnie Cochran on that one.

Wait...Dennis Northcut still plays???? He was the 4th slot receiver in Madden 97
I approve this post
Good article and well written.......
Good post Terry... I wish buls would choose to grow up. You know? it's not like we all don't want to just cut loose... and nail every nice looking chick we see. But "MEN" make sacrafices and too many of us aren't willing to do it and because us this it's costing some dudes everything. Jay-Z and R. Kelly got a song off that 1st compilation album they had addressing the culprit ha
