Merrill Hoge has been one of Vince Young's biggest critics ever since Young was getting ready for the 2006 NFL draft. It's like it his life's quest to tear down Vince. Hoge has even gone so far as to say that the Titans are stuck with Vince no matter how much they want to get rid of him, and this was in a pre season game.

While never one to hold his own opinion to himself about Young, no matter the sting, ESPN analyst Merril Hoge may have gone too far. In an interview with Pittsburgh radio station WDVE, Hoge goes to work on Vince Young. Hoge goes on to call Young a big baby, and one of the biggest crybabies he ever met, and this is while Vince was still in high school.

Now all this would be ok in the world of journalism if Vince was a newsworthy topic. First of all, Vince has not played since week one. So where in the world is all this hate coming from? I mean Vince has been out of sight and this is what Hoge decides to rant on? It doesn't make any rational sense. I don't think it's a given that Vince is a bad Quarterback, and given that he went to both the Playoffs and the Pro Bowl last year, I would think most people would say he's been successful if not decent early on in his career. Sure the man's got his problems, but to pile on like this when he's down is pretty tasteless.
