2- California Dreaming
By the time "Ya Boy" is in Cali to shoot a commercial on the 18th (I am a superstar critically acclaimed) the Buckeyes will have tumbled down the rankings. It is not unheard of for OSU to go on the road and beat a highly ranked team (see: Texas a few years ago), but it is highly unlikely they are going to catch a highly motivated USC by surprise.
3- Speed vs. Experience
The Buckeyes have one of the most experience defenses in the country, but do they have the speed to keep up with USC? It is one of the things that hampered them against the last two BCS Championship games. It isn't that OSU isn't fast enough the problem lies in they are playing teams who aren't very athletic throughout the majority of the year so when they see a team like USC or Florida the adjustment to the speed sometimes comes too late.
4- Mark Sanchez vs. Todd Boeckman
You would think that Boeckman being the more experience QB would have the advantage, but if you have watched Boeckman closely in high pressure situations you would know why that isn't the case. Some QBs seem to rise to the moment, but Boeckman seems to shrink. Sanchez playing at home gives the Trojans a distinct advantage at QB.
5- The Obvious
While these are all great reasons and what not simply put USC is better and they are playing at home with a clear path to the National Championship in front of them.

But it isn't over yet. In the process of being fair here are 3 ways the Buckeyes could win:
1- Beanie really is healthy
I doubt it, but if he explodes, helps control the clock and keep the USC offense off the field then they have a chance.
2- Terrelle Pryor channels his inner Vince Young
Let me rephrase that if Terrelle Pryor channels his inner "College" Vince Young he can be a game changer. But that is a lot to put on a freshman quarterback who has just played in two games.
3- USC watches too many highlights of the Ohio State vs. Ohio game.
Don't be fooled Ohio State is one of the better teams in the country point blank period. If USC walks in there thinking they have already won they will be upset.
