For those that do not remember who this woman is, she is the woman that accused Isiah Thomas of sexual harassment and then went on to sue him and got a $12 million payday. Now according to the New York Post, Anucha Browne Sanders expressed her thoughts on Isiah's overdose.
"I've said all along he should have time to reflect on how badly he's treated people over the years. Now that he's not working, he should think about the victims of Isiah. Maybe that's what's going on," Sanders told The Post.
"If he tried to commit suicide, I don't want to pounce on him," she said, but "I don't feel sorry for him. You make your bed, you lie in it."
"I don't know what to say about it. If he's not mentally stable, I'm not going to say anything to make it worse. That whole environment [at Madison Square Garden], you don't realize how sick an environment it is until you step away from it. I just think he should probably stay and play with [the management at] Madison Square Garden. That's where he belongs," she said. "It's just pitiful."
Funny how she says she does not want to pounce on him if this had been a suicide attempt but then she goes ahead and does it. Look I do not like Isiah Thomas either and I think he's foul for all the things he has done the latest is letting people think his daughter is the one who overdosed on sleeping pills. However I also do not think much of Miss Anucha here.
You got paid and now just go away. I mean yeah you can hate Isiah all you want but I would think regardless of how you feel about him you would at least think of the people who actually do care about him like his kids and how they probably do not want to hear what you have to say at a time like this. The best thing would be to have said "No Comment" when approached on the subject. However it is obvious that she also isn't any more sensitive about those around her as Isiah is.
For all he put her through and the length of time that she had to go through this, I feel she deserve to have her say.
She had her say when the case was going on now its been what a year since it went down. I mean one would think she made peace with it obviously not. It just comes across as bitter on her part and I would think out of respect for Isiah's family she would keep it to herself.
