I have seen a lot of players make dumb plays in my lifetime, but this has to be right up there. The funny part is that you can tell Dan Orlovsky had no idea what was going on because he just kept running as if he had another 30 yards to backpedal. Even the ref was looking at him like:
This is the equivalent of me running a red light last week when it had been red for at least 10 seconds. My excuse I am an idiot and was zoning out. Orlovsky excuse? Well maybe he had really had to use the bathroom. Then again these are the Lions we are talking about, so it could have all been in their masterplan for victory.
