First off Lou Holtz in HD should be banned in 34 states.

Secondly I am still trying to figure out what the big deal is about this video. On ESPN College Football Final Holtz and Mark May are arguing about who is the best College QB this year Tim Tebow or Colt McCoy.
Lou appears to have a "man crush" on Tebow and doesn't appear to be too fond of McCoy. At the end of the segment when it seems that Holtz believes that he is "off air" he says:
"It was just one DAMN game"
In reference to Colt McCoy's outstanding performance against Oklahoma.
I didn't know that "Damn" was a such a bad word you have to apologize for it on air. Not really a big deal in my opinion. I like that Lou shows emotion definitely not anything to apologize for. Just hopes he doesn't have a heart attack on the set.

Wow..
I concur about Lou in HD
I saw this live last night and nearly lost it. This is hysterical! All I can figure is with Lou Holtz constantly being portrayed as a "good Christian," he wanted to make sure he stepped in before this thing made the rounds on the net and did any kind of damage (real or perceived) to that reputation.
Lou may have gone off base a touch, but he knows much more about football than any he is on TV, and especially any of us posting
Lou might be interested to know the young man he doesn't like comes across as a better Christian than Lou Holtz any day of the week... but then Lou did get fired lots of places for blatant cheating so being a better person should not be really difficult to accomplish
Max is way off base here. So is Dumitri.
This was simply an exercise whereby ESPN picks the topics for Lou & Mark May.
In my eyes, this merely shows how competitive Lou is. He doesn't like to lose.
Max, Lou was never suspected for cheating at any of the places he worked.... except by ill-informed "fans" such as yourself.
Give 'em HELL , LOU !!
