It's funny when you watch the back and forth that goes on between Keyshawn Johnson or to hear T.O. tell it "She-shawn" after the Cowboys lost to the Redskins. Listen I like T.O. but however you want to analyze it he does come off as a selfish player sometimes. Do I have a problem with it or take it personally? No. But I do recognize it. I mean this is a player that thinks McNabb was hating on him because he was playing so well when he was with the Eagles. Late in the 2004 season McNabb tried to instill confidence in the team and said they could still win without T.O. when Owens got injured. To me, you and everyone else, McNabb said nothing wrong. But to T.O. this is considered a diss. Now if anyone followed McNabb since he's been in the league, he's actually the last player that would be upset about someone else getting some shine. He's simply just not that type of character.
Sometimes when I hear T.O. talk I wonder what Barber and Witten are thinking to themselves. I mean these are both Pro Bowl caliber player, Witten currently being the best TE in the game and Barber very good in his own right.
I'm sure Witten and Barber have to think from time to time that they are pretty good players themselves and the team is not a one trick pony. I'm speaking from the eyes of an unbiased observer, and I write for BSO, so you know i'll give everybody a fair shake and keep it 100. I will say It did sound a little crazy when T.O. basically said the offense is stagnant when he doesn't get the rock. I'm not going to dispute whether that's true or not. That's not the point. But what he needs to understand is there are a lot of players that can say the samething. It's just sounds crazy listening to him complain when he's accounted for up to 30% of the offense and if he's not getting the ball it's not because they aren't trying to. God forbid that a team ever played good defense on T.O. and him just chalk it up to good defense. On the other hand Marion Barber has a legit beef, he didn't even get 10 carries against the 'Skins. Now you tell me who has a leg to stand on to complain?
I know i'm not the only person who gets a big kick out of the T.O. - Keyshawn back and forth verbal jabs. When T.O. says "get your popcorn ready" he should be signaling the trash talk between him and Keyshawn. Only if they can keep this going all season, man it would be entertainment at it's best for the fans. T.O. is dead-on about in a recent interview when he said they can edit film however they want to make him look bad. Johnson was right about some of the lazy routes T.O. was running sometimes.
That being said I do think that Keyshawn has a little bit of that jealous-hate type vibe when he's talking about Owens. Johnson, who ironically wrote a book called "Just Give Me the Damn Ball!" obviously was not exactly a humble receiver himself. So it's funny to watch him put on his tie and try to chastise T.O. for crying for the ball. Off the field, this is like a battle of two verbal heavyweights, Nas vs. Jay-Z. On the field, more like Harvard vs. Devry. When it's all said and done Owens will be in Canton, while Johnson might be remembered more for his bad haircuts than his football play.
If nothing else we probably all can agree that the NFL and it's business partners have made more money on T.O. these past fews years than they have paid him. Easily the most entertaining player on and off the field.
You know the Chronicles will continue

maybe romo still owe me sex
Might as well call it terrellownensonline.com
they both owe me sex
I like this site, but sometimes you guys seem to be a little bit off on what your talking about.
T.O. is the best receiver in the league right now, he's so good that he makes people say that Witten is the best TE in the game, which is false. Witten is elite, but not the best. If you look at what TO said, you can see that it is in response to a question posed by reporters, but his responses are always looked at as if he just stated this without being asked any questions.
first off Rob that is an awesome name. secondly though each writer has there own perspective on different topics..I tend to agree with your perspective..Omarr has a different one..Robert Bonnette has a different one...It is what makes the site unique everyone just doesn't follow what I say. They are puppets they have there own opinions on things
Rob thanks for reading- Rob It's just my opinion as you are giving yours. Witen being the best TE in the game right now is all opinion, there's no true or false involved. No one said that T.O. isn't the best in the game, I actually said he's a shoe in for the Hall, arguably the best receiver to ever play not named Rice and is the games most entertaining player. I know it was a response to a question but that's not the point. I'm talking about my assessment of him, period. I mentioned the 04 season and stuff he's said past and now... hey he is who he is and I have nothing against him but i'm just calling a spade a spade.
I feel you, and I agree with you (and this site) 99% of the time. I just brought up the fact that it was an answer to a question because of how ESPN and most other mainstream media take things out of context.
But Witten above Gates? Lol, like you said it's all opinion. Thanks for the article man, keep up the good work on the site, articles like this are the reason BSO is my homepage.
