I don't really care who fault it was Romo or Witten the fact of the matter is the Romo lead Cowboys always seem to choke when Santa Claus is about to ride in on his sled. I can't take Tony Romo seriously as an elite Quarterback in this league when he shows that he can't lead a team to victory in a big game. In that regard he reminds me a lot of Peyton Manning. If you take away the Super Bowl year (which the defense and the running game lead the team to the championship) Manning always seem to make the critical mistake in the most inopportune time. Up to this point Romo shares that trait with him and with a murderous row schedule down the stretch don't be surprise by the time Santa is actually coming down the chimney the Cowboys will be making plans to "Go Fishing"
The Steelers defense is good. It is better than good. It is carry your team to the Super Bowl good. Offensive worries me a bit, but we are watching a historic defense in the making. Honestly doesn't anyone want to see that defense come playoff time? Every week they seem to get even better and more ferocious. You can see the fear in the opponents' eyes. This week they won the game for the team.

I don't get the Manning comparison here I love how he's always to blame for why the Colts didn't win the big one but folks seem to forget about the times Vanderjagt missed important FG's in big games. I don't see you saying that the Steelers won the SB despite Ben's dismal performance in the Super Bowl and yet that's what happened. And how the Colts defense wasn't always great. I don't know what to think of Romo but this is his third year as a starter and while he's not elite at least he's above average.
You must not be a long time reader of the site. Because Littal has been harder on Ben Rothlisberger than almost any QB of the league
That is funny. Littal has always been on Ben. He the dude that coined the phrase:
"Medium" Ben Rothlisberger.
That is a BSO original
until Dallas gets rid of the 3 Amigos... Wade Phililps, Jason Garrett, and Tony Homo.. Dallas will never win.. As a fan... Im sick of seeing this team start our great, and then don't show up to play in December... Kudo's to our defense.. Defense will have to do it for us.. Romo your a bum and over rated.
ummm I recall Peyton stinking up the joint against Pittsburgh until the D got the ball back for him then he choked in not getting the team in better field position.
Yet they were still in it 21-18 fact is its not all on the QB. There are other factors to consider. I mean Jim Kelly lost 4 SB's and nobody said he was a choker.
If you are trying to defend Manning come on don't be naive. He won his Super Bowl, but similar to Brett Favre in a lot of big games he came up short and normally with a bad performance.
The Bills are considered one of the biggest chokers of all time, but at least they made it to the Super Bowl 4 times. The Colts have been the favorite multiple times and have blown it. He couldn't beat a San Diego team last with a bye at home
I think people expect too much from Tony Romo. Since he messed up on the snap in the playoffs against Seattle, he has been blamed for the Cowboys failures. Let me start by saying I am not a Cowboy fan. As a matter of fact, I can't stand them. The main reason why I hate them is because of their fans. Cowboy fans think thei team is supposed to beat everyone. That's not the case. Last year in the playoff game against the Giants, they were outplayed up front. No team could handle that Giants' rush at the end of the season. Romo was running for his life and his receivers were dropping passes, but Romo got the blame. Witten runs a bad route and Romo gets the blame. How about the Cowboys defense learning how to make critical stops when they have to. They played well the first 3 1/2 quarters and then they gave the game away. It's not all on Romo.
