- As everyone knows, the Miami Heat are lobbying hard to get rid of Shawn Marion. Its not like the matrix has been stinking up the place, it's just that he does not mesh well with D-Wade. The Heat may be looking to land Brad Miller and Kenny Thomas from Sac-Town for Marion. The trade looks good on paper and the Heat do need frontcourt help right now. The kings would be looking to add help for swingman Kelvin Martin and it would clear $17 million off their cap for the next season. Keep a look out for this one.
- With that in mind, look for the Cavaliers to stand pat on their roster...for now. There have been talks about the Cavs moving Wally Szczerbiak for Brad Miller as well. However, with how well the team has played up to this point, a move seems unlikely.
- Once again Reggie Miller's name has come up in talks of him suiting up again. Reggie Miller told the Dan Patrick Show that the Celts want to know if he's interested in coming out of retirement to play. "We love it all," said Doc Rivers after yesterday's brief practice. "I mean, we're going to call Magic (Johnson), Larry (Bird) and Michael (Jordan) next - Cooz (Bobby Cousy), (Bill) Russell." While the Marbury situation has been ongoing, Miller's comments came as a bit of a surprise. "No, we contacted Cheryl," Rivers said of Reggie's sister. "I wanted Cheryl to come back, not Reggie. Listen," the coach added, "whenever I see him, I always tell him, 'Reggie, any time you want to come (back)...' I say that, but as far as what him and Danny have said, I have no idea. I don't get involved in that."
