Today, the Los Angeles Clippers face the Portland Trailblazers in what will be a historic night for the NBA & the South Asian community. A game at Staples Center, it will be more than just a Clipper game, with an evening of celebration and entertainment to commemorate India Republic Day.
With India in its 62nd year of independence, Rukus Avenue, a record label in both India and the UK, is teaming up the Los Angeles Clippers to present a Republic Day tribute game - complete with an Armed Services Honor Guard, outdoor cultural expo and an India-fusion half-time showcase.
