What I find so ironic is that all throughout the training BJ Penn (and his training camp) kept bringing up the same simple and stupid distinction between "an athlete" and "a warrior." Their strategy seemed to be to press one set of balls against the other and "the warrior" would come out on top. This is the same stupid idea every punk across America has when it comes time to fight. Grow up.

People mistake GSP's honesty and integrity for a lack of courage. Big mistake. What's more stupid is that the very distinction itself is a false dichotomy. If you're not "a warrior" it does not mean you are just "an athlete" with no passion or will to die for your victory. After all, you could be "an artist," and we know how crazy those folks can be with every bit as much will to die for their art as a warrior will die for the cause. GSP is an artist of this highest sort, he's a true martial artist.

FWIW, aside from being a stupid strategy on the part of the Penn camp, they didn't follow through. BJ Penn didn't go out on his shield as a true warrior should, BJ Penn went out STANDING! He GAVE UP! And his camp GAVE UP (you could see them in the background throwing in the towel). So much for the little balls of "the warrior."

Leverage, you have no idea what you are talking about. Don't worry ol' BJ will get another shot and then all will be settled. Personally, I think GSP was great. BJ had his a^% handed to him! And apparently, he wants another a%*^ whoopin'! My money is on GSP for the third time!
