Yes he's at it again folks! You would think one would humble himself after all the self-destructive behavior Adam "Pacman" Jones has faced over the years. There's his release from the Cowboys this past January, 30 day suspension for reenacting Mike Tyson's Punch out with his NFL appointed bodyguard/babysitter at a hotel party back in October 2008 and before that an accusation of assault of a stripper in January 2008. Sadly, that is only the short end of long rap sheet dating back to highschool and college that includes marijuana possession, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, felony vandalism, assault and other miscellaneous acts of mischief and mayhem.
This time Pacman brings his thug appeal to the set of Spike TV's fourth season "Pros vs Joes", a reality TV show that pits ex-professional NBA and NFL players against average Joe blows.
Deadspin.com reports that Jones took the term reality TV entirely too far during practice when he went blow for blow with castmate and former Holy Cross linebacker, Dan Adams
"He hit me 10 yards out of bounds, kind of a cheap shot," Adams said. "I couldn't sit there and not retaliate. You've got to have some pride and dignity."
After the cheap shot, the two apparently had words, emotions flew, punches were thrown and separation ensued shortly thereafter. Who knew Pacman would meet his match in a 5'10 sales rep from Boston? Maybe it's the luck of the Irish or those ice cold Boston coolers. Hey, the guy did set a NCAA single game record for 21 solo tackles!
A classic example of "When Keeping It Real Goes Horribly Wrong? For Pacman Jones this should feel like scene out of an episode of "This Is Your Life", though perhaps a lot more unscripted. Nothing beats unscripted violence. Spike TV might be on to something. Do I see a Pacman reality show on the horizon? If T.O. can get his own show, no doubt some ratings hungry cable network will salivate at the idea after the can of whoop ass Jones no doubt will unleash on the Joes.
